ABOUT CLICK

CLICK is an experimental and exploratory playground that investigates the experiential and developmental potential at the intersection of art, philosophy, science, and technology. CLICK focuses on sensuousness, process, and cultural innovation through cross-aesthetic experiments, aiming to create an inclusive platform where the curious and culturally engaged can encounter groundbreaking and unconventional tendencies within music, stage, installation, and performance art.

In professional terms, CLICK functions as a forum where national and international artists, professionals, and educational institutions can collaborate, share knowledge, build networks, and develop new original initiatives.

For Kulturværftet as a producing cultural center, CLICK also serves as a development engine and idea-generating platform, contributing energy and inspiration to the house’s overall program development while leaving a mark on the local community.
CLICK began as a festival in 2010 and ran annually until 2020. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, CLICK—like many other festivals and cultural activities—underwent a transformation. From 2022 onward, CLICK has no longer been limited to an annual festival but has become a dynamic program track with both large and small initiatives. There is now greater room for artistic processes and for each individual element within a concept of a more meditative character, with a focus on a sustainable exposure strategy for the arts. 

We approach our work with curiosity. CLICK is not an authority in its field; it is an initiative exploring complex subjects within the arts, with the aim of bringing different and alternative perspectives to the forefront—whether related to equality and diversity, the impact of new technologies, or the ongoing environmental crisis.
CLICK is developed and produced by Kulturværftet in Helsingør and is part of Helsingør’s interregional initiatives, where forces from culture, research, business, and education—with culture at the forefront—have set out to create new development in the area.
