YES udsætter Relayer Tour til 2024

Som du måske allerede har set på YES’ egen platform, så har bandet i går desværre meddelt, at de pga. uforudsete omstændigheder bliver nødt til at udsætte deres 2023 Relayer Tour et år til 2024.
På Kulturværftet arbejder vi på at finde en ny dato i 2024 for denne koncert, det forventer vi klaret inden udgangen af april 2023. Når datoen er på plads, vil du høre fra os igen via e-mail. Hvis du er forhindret eller af andre årsager ikke ønsker at beholde din billet, kan du få billetprisen refunderet. I den næste mail vi sender dig, vil der være mulighed for at bede om billetter refunderet.

As you might already have seen on YES’ own website, YES have due to unforeseen circumstances postponed their 2023 Relayer Tour.
At Kulturværftet we are working to find a new date for the concert at Kulturværftet in 2024. When we know the date, we will get back to you by e-mail. We expect to be get back to you, no later than the end of April 2023.
If you are not able to attend, or due to other reasons do not wish to keep your ticket, you can get a ticket refund. In the next email we send, there will be an opportunity to ask for tickets refunded.

Pionerer inden for den progressive rock lægger vejen forbi Kulturværftet på deres tour ”The Album Series”.
Denne aften vil YES først spille udvalgte favoritter, og der er nok at tage af fra de mere end 50 år og 21 albums, som den britiske rockgruppe har bag sig. Derefter vil gruppen spille ”Relayer”-albummet fra 1974 i sin helhed. Guitarist Steve Howe udtaler:
”We are really looking forward to playing ALL of the Relayer album. Having premiered The Gates Of Delirium this year, we continue by expanding our Album Series with all the tracks: The Gates Of Delirium, Sound Chaser and To Be Over. During the first half of the evening we’ll be performing a refined selection from Yes’ enormous 50 year + repertoire. See you there!”
Ud over Steve Howe består gruppen i dag af Geoff Downes (keyboards), Billy Sherwood (bas, guitar), Jon Davison (vokal) og Jay Schellen (trommer og percussion).
Kunstneren Roger Dean, der er manden bag YES’ artwork, udstiller samtidig nogle af sine værker på Kulturværftet.

YES udsætter Europa-tour til 2023
Koncerten på Kulturværftet udsættes til torsdag den 1. juni 2023 kl. 20.00.

YES Announce Re-scheduled European dates for The Relayer 2023 Album Series Tour
21st April 2022:
It is with great disappointment YES announce that the logistical problems of arranging European tour dates for 2022, caused by the on-going pandemic, have proved insurmountable. YES have taken the decision, for the safety of band members, crew and audiences, to reschedule all mainland European dates to 2023. This has allowed us to add back in the Rockhal in Luxembourg. which we were unable to accommodate in the 2022 tour.
Tickets for all rescheduled shows remain valid for the new dates.
Geoff Downes says “We’re really looking forward to getting back onstage and performing for our fans. Relayer will be special.”
The tour line-up features Steve Howe (guitars), Alan White (drums), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals), Billy Sherwood (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Jay Schellen (additional drums and percussion).
As previously announced, the show will comprise full production and a high-definition video wall. The show will include favourite classic tracks from YES’ extensive catalogue together with Relayer, the seventh studio album by YES and one of the band’s most distinctive, in full. Relayer marked a slight change in direction as Patrick Moraz replaced Rick Wakeman on keyboards bringing an edgier, avant-garde feel to the album. This was perfect for the opening track Gates Of Delirium, almost 22 minutes in length, with its battle scene featuring the keyboard of Moraz and Steve.
Roger Dean will be directing the production and joining the tour with an exhibition of YES related art.
